5 Top Games for Party Animals

Trinidad and Tobago has a lot of parties. I'm sure if you tune in to any local radio station there are several parties being promoted. Around carnival season the number of parties triple and they evolve into fetes (I'm not even kidding). Games have a way of bringing people together as well because some games are best when others a playing right next to you. Rock Band/ Guitar Hero (All platforms)

How are the two guitarists playing?

Have you always dreamed of being a rock star? Well now you can (well... kinda). This game lets you play the drums, lead guitar, bass guitar, keyboard or even sing and it's incredibly fun. There are tons of songs to choose as well from Bon Jovi to Metallica.


Dance Central (XBOX 360, XBOX ONE)

Stay on beat

As I wrote in a previous post I love this game. That being said this game is also a perfect party game. You can show off your dancing skills (not just whining and twerking) to classics such as Y.M.C.A and In Da Club. There are other dancing games like Just Dance but this one is a better 'dance game' as the other is silly but you can still have some with it. Also, this game is a workout so you may have to reapply your makeup when you are done 😉.

Wii Sports (Wii)

Swing batter batter batter.

This game was a massive hit when it was first released back in 2006. It features sports like baseball, tennis, golf, bowling and even boxing. This game works well in a party setting because of its accessibility and ease of use. It's more than enough to get the party started and remember... sportsmanship.


Johann Sebastian Joust (PS3, PS4, PC)

Don't touch me bro!

This game is like musical chairs with PlayStation move controllers. Basically, you have to protect your controller from your opponents (other people with move controllers) while trying to jostle your opponents own. Last man or woman standing wins the game.

This game is available as part of the Sportsfriends compendium and it's a blast to play in any type of party whether indoor, outdoor, cooler, concert or ladies free before 12.

You Don't Know Jack (PS3, PS4, PC, Mobile)

Alright Alright Alright

Looking for a different take on trivia questions? Then this is your game. This isn't a game for people that feel they know everything because it's ridiculous. The host that tries to screw with you by asking out-of-timing questions like the one above and it's hilarious. It will give party-goers some laugh-out-loud experiences.
