- Guest Services Counter, Movie Towne, Port of Spain
- Game Concepts, Arima (Opposite Republic Bank)
- G-Spot Entertainment, Port of Spain
- G-Spot Entertainment, Chaguanas
Apart from attractions such as local gaming demos, animation corner, technology showcases featuring virtual reality technologies, exhibitor floor and cosplay competition. Also there will be the finals for Versus 2016 Tournament at the EXPO featuring FIFA 17, Super Smash Brothers (Wii-U), Street Fighter 5, Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Storm 4, Mortal Kombat XL and Killer Instinct. Up to $5000 TTD (Approx. $740 USD) can be won in each tournament. All challengers can register here for their chance at video games glory. Also, check out the rules for each tournament here.
This EXPO is the first to mainly feature video games as all other events in Trinidad and Tobago usually highlight anime, comics or our favorite activity 'partying'. However, I sincerely hope the gaming community comes out in support of events of this nature so that E-Sports can become a legit sport in Trinidad and Tobago and not just a thing people do to make a little money on the side.
What do you think, can E-Sports in Trinidad and Tobago become a sport? Please leave your opinions in the comment section below.
